Who is Felix Goldstein?
Felix Goldstein is a multi instrumentalist and singer/songwriter from Long Island. She moved frequently during her adult life, which resulted in temporary stays in Gettysburg, Boston, New York City, Los Angeles, and Rochester, NY. Her songs document her love for NYC, and figuring out her life in her 20's.
Though a long time in the making with some tracks recorded as early as 2009, her debut album "Double Helix" was released in February of 2018.
Double Helix
This is Felix Goldstein's debut album! Genres range from funk to pop to surf rock to jazz and more! Felix herself played tenor sax and keys on a few tracks, and electric bass on all tracks. Most songs are originals written and arranged by Goldstein. Two tracks are Yiddish and klezmer covers, as homages to her grandparents. Her friends and colleagues creatively participated in this album, which makes this album extra special to her.
